It's been such a long week, I hope everyone else's wasn't so busy. How I managed to get through two doubles is beyond me, though it is good to know it was time well spent.
I managed a visit with my parents today, it'd been ridiculously long since I last saw them. They're doing well, still two of the best dentists around. I missed them.
Would anyone care to join me for a day in the city tomorrow? I have the day off tomorrow, I haven't been out of Veritas in far too long and I'd love to take advantage of it.

So. There's going to be a Ball. Should be fun, right? The last one I attended went so well I may have to decline. Anyone thinking of going?
I've been baking non-stop and I don't know why. When I got off from work and arrived home I suddenly had the urge to bake. So I've got cookies galore if anyone's interested in having some. I made chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and peanut butter.
My new book finally arrived today- I've been thinking about trying my talents out in a different ward and decided to study up more thoroughly on Magical Creatures.

It's Friday, thank Merlin. This week has been mental- more injuries and accidents caused by a lack of common sense than anything else.
Is it so hard to think before acting? Honestly.
I'm off all weekend, and save tonight I've got it all to myself. Tomorrow I think I'll start the next book on my list.

This is absolute madness. How are people from another dimension appearing here? This 'displaced phenomenon' isn't like anything I've ever read on before, and I've read quite a lot. No recollection of anything but a different world, nothing out of the ordinary except they shouldn't be here. I wonder what I'm like there.
We don't have a cause, any common factors, or much to go on so it's hard to create any real theories. I ought to see if I can find any information that could be of use. I'll see if any of my books have anything, and then I'll check the library.
I do hope all of you who are displaced are alright, though. If I woke up in an alternate reality I don't know what I would do. If there's anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask.
